| In 1983 the Mirage 2000 Solo Display was founded, to show the power of the then new Dassault-Breguet Mirage 2000C in the Armée de l'air (French Air Force). For most of the years, the team consisted of two display pilots and two aircraft. In an air show weekend one pilot could fly the Saturday show and the other the Sunday one. At some shows the demonstration was made in the two seat Mirage 2000B, most of the time the C-type single seat fighter was used. Although the Rafale was already three years in service in 2008, the last demonstration by the Mirage 2000 Solo Display team was on 29 September 2008, at the air show of Poitiers. | |||||||||||
